Happy National Peanut Butter Day! I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t be happier about celebrating this little holiday. PB is pretty important in my life, so important that even the thought of being allergic to peanut butter sends chills down my spine.
Sometimes peanut butter gets a bad rep in the diet world because of its high fat content but truth be told all natural peanut butter (no added sugar, corn syrup, artificial flavoring etc.) is a great source of protein and can curb hunger for hours. Plus its freaking delicious.
So here I thought I’d share some amazingly delicious ways to celebrate this national holiday
Top your oatmeal with warm peanut butter and sink into breakfast coma of joy. {Image via KathEats}
Snack on an apple with a little melted PB. {image via OhSheGlows}
Go buy this. It’s worthy every.single.penny.
Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Milkshake via ChocolateCoveredKatie
Nutella and Peanut Butter Graham Bars with Chocolate frosting via LovesVeggiesandYoga
Peanut Butter Pretzel Granola Bars via HowSweetEats
Banilla Sandwich Cookie via BakersRoyale.
Peanut Butter Granola via EatLiveRun.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Espresso Shake via WithStyle&Grace.
And I HIGHLY recommend this last celebratory method:
Insert finger into PB jar. Insert PB covered finger into mouth. Close eyes and enjoy. (because calories don’t count in this type of situation)
Hope you had a peanut butter filled tuesday!
